Okay, so. I flaked on Days of Awesome this year, because I'm overwhelmed. But all week I've been getting kudos for previous years' Days of Awesome stories, and it's making me feel guilty. (Appropriately!)

So here, have the instaquick delayed Days of Awesome. Hey, it's still the days of awe, right? Right?

Post as many or as few stories as you want, of any length, at the AO3 Days of Awesome 2011 collection between now and October 20th; stories will be hidden. On October 20th, I'll reveal the stories. On October 30th, I'll reveal the authors.

Write whatever you want, as long as it features Jewish characters being noticeably Jewish, where "being Jewish" is defined by you. Just feature their Judaism in some way or another: religious, cultural, geographical, ethnic, family, or any way at all. You want to have Cristina Yang eating kreplach? Magneto remembering his childhood? Kitty Pryde negotiating with Colossus about raising the kids Jewish? Young Greg House at James Wilson's Bar Mitzvah? Ziva David in the IDF? Go for it.

Warn for in-character racism, fatphobia, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, etc, if you would. Jews of color, Jews with disabilities, and non-Ashkenaz Jews are particularly welcome.

All stories will be revealed on Oct 20. All authors will be revealed on October 27. Why these dates? TOTALLY RANDOM, THAT'S WHY.
